I bought a goose down pillow today.
It was 3x the price of the regular polyester stuffed pillow, but it squishes SO nicely.
There is an unforseen problem, however. It's a hugeass pillow, and it has to be stuffed into my little single-bed sized pillowcase. That constricts its squishing to an unacceptable degree. Tomorrow I will buy a larger pillowcase for it. Maybe something with an insanely high thread count to go with the niceness of the pillow. But such a nice pillowcase would just highlight the low qualty of my worn-out old sheets, so maybe I should get a whole set of super-nice sheets. Though it would be a waste to put them on my ancient, crappy single bed I've had since middle school, so maybe I should get a nice queen sized, or hell, king sized....
...
I hope this pillow isn't the start of some kind of freaky bedding fetish.
