For those of you who did not see this at the SG Chrlt H'ween party this past weekend, here is the costume I made & wore to it. Yeah, I got skillz!

I call this Mardi Gras Ice Queen.
I started with a white sports bra, & boy short panties. I sewed the silver sequins & faux fur on those. I made the mask,wrist cuffs, silver train, & leg warmers from scratch. I already had the gloves & jewelry. I purchased the wig & shoes (not in the pic but they are clear platforms w/rhinestones), and I coated myself in body gel and sprinkled fine silver glitter from top to bottom. The cost for the materials I used to put this costume together was less than $25. The makeup I used was Urban Decay & Makeup Forever. It made me happy...that I could design & make my own costume & that it turned out fabulous!
I'm pretty certain I'm paying for it, too. I've been feeling like crap all week...Sunday feeling like crap was a given (hangover), but Monday & Tuesday, I had headaches, no energy, no appetite, & sleepin, sleepin, sleepin. Today, now I'm achy & coughing up icky yellow/green shit, and have a sore throat & burning chest. Lookout! Here comes the flu!
