At least it was only 5 hours and not 5 days. Love the music. Why was the music of the 90's so good. Why is mainstream music now not as good? Does it have to do with the record labels just wanting to put out a bunch of shit and all the real artists are on independent labels? It is rather annoying though not to be able to hear really anything worth listening to on the radio now a days. You have to hunt for good music. I guess though it makes you appreciate it more when you find it.

so it's been a month today since i got laid off. seems longer. ive sent out somewhere between 20 to 30 resumes, have my resume on monster for public viewing, and i've only had ONE interview. no one else has even called me. i havent even heard back from the job i used to work at who offered me a job.

I couldn't do it anymore I didn't want to go through it anymore.

It's so damn frustration and tedious. My old job wanted me back.
So I'm back with them. I don't even care anymore.

Funny you should mention gold mine. Ive often that if I suddenly found myself without a job in this economy, I would sell off most of what I ahve, put the stuff I'm keeping in storage, and head for the desert in search of precious metals, like many did during the depression. Yes, it would be a hard life, but one I could maintain.

went to a job fair today. it was sponsored by last job, and it was only for those of us who got laid off. according to the flyer they gave us, there was supposed to be like 40+ companies there. there were barely more than 20. and half of them just told us to look online to apply. WTF?!?
