im currently fighting hard to stop biting my nails.
ive been an avid nail biter for as long as i can remember, and i'm just really tired of not having nails. its very annoying.
but so is trying to quit. i swear its like trying to quit smoking. except with smoking you can just stay away from cigarrettes, not buy them, wear a patch, chew the gum, whatever,
your fingernails are ALWAYS there. hard to avoid the temptation.
ive caught myself at least 20 times today about to bite one of them off.

educated guess perhaps. My great grandmother is burried in the cemetary there. She lived there for about 30 years during the 30'a 40's and 50's.

i saw the otehr pics too. knew those were calico. and yeah, she lived there before walter knott got hold of it. walter knott practically stole it. he got the whole townsite and the surrounding mines for like $3000 from the zenda mining company. my greta grandmother and her husband had tried to buy it from zenda a year earlier. zenda wanted $12000 for it. then. seems the next year zenda had a major problem and needed to get cash in hurry. walter knott was in the right place at the right time.
