my trip to Vegas has been postponed until the end of this month. The paid time off i requested didnt go thru. so then i tried the next weekend. and it was already taken. so i had to settle for the end of the month in the middle of the week.
i really wanted to go on a weekend. ive never been to vegas on the weekend, and i really wanted to see how much better it probably is. oh well. Vegas is Vegas, and i should still have a good time.

recommendations:
music:
Bright Eyes "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" First BE album that i have bought, and i'm impressed. It's definitly something to pop in the cd player if you are in a chill mood, and want to think. BE released another album at the same time called "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn", and its very different from their normal stuff, but good notheless.
Steel Train "Twilight Tales From the Prairies of the Sun" This album isnt out yet. comes out on the 19th. This is another band to listen to to relax and think. Awesome stuff. Check out their first EP, and their second EP, which is a cover of songs from 1969, which they are heavily influenced by.
A Static Lullaby "Faso Latido" Here we go. This is NOT a cd to listen to to relax and think. Well, i guess you could... but its a heavy Screamo/Emo/Rock album. The second from this band. Good stuff
movies:
Closer - I havent seen it yet. im planning to during my weekend. But im recommending this for one simple reason: Natalie Portman as a stripper. Enough Said.
Elektra - Not a great movie, but it isnt bad. I was a HUGE comic book geek when i was younger, so movies like this usually appeal to me
video games:
God of War (PS2) This is one o the best action games out there. Very brutal and bloody, but also very thought provoking in the puzzles. Plus it's based on Greek Mythology, which in my book, is freaking sweet.
