here's what i'm recommending this week:
TV:
Adult Swim, of course! Futurama and Family Guy reruns, SeaLab, AquaTeens, Harvey Birdman. Their new one, Tom goes to the mayor bored the hell out of me though. I'm also watching the Malcom in the Middle syndicated reruns on FOX.
movies:
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow - OK, so it's a little cheesy, but the visuals are just breathtaking, considering that only the actors and a few select props are real.
Alien vs. Predator - So it's nowhere near as good as it should have been, and it pissed off a lot of fans. I don't care. I liked Predator, and i've only seen bits and pieces of the Alien series, so this movie didnt disillusion me one bit. The predators and the aliens both looked fucking awesome.
Paulie Shore is Dead - this one is straight to DVD, for obvious reasons. Back in the day, i was a big Paulie Shore fan, and i still like watching his old movies. This one, however, is kind of a letdown. It isnt bad at all, in my opinion, just doesnt live up to the Wiez's usual movies. Tons and tons and tons of celebrity cameos in it though.
Hook - I know, an old movie, but it was on tv the other day, and i couldn't resist watching it. it's a classic!
video games:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - enough said.
Star Wars Battlefront - i usually dont like war sim games like this, but this one is just really fun
