My mom is still doing great. She saw her Renal doctor today, and he told her that her kidneys arent quite as good as her GP told her, but shes still doing fine. He wants to see her again in 4 months.
As for me, i was told yesterday that they finally found someone that they like to be my partner, so they are going to make her an offer. Hopefully it works out, so i can be a little less overworked.
Ive been waiting for my evaluation for a few weeks now. Well, its been a few weeks since i spoke with HR and my bosses about it. Ive actually been waiting over a year for it. But they told me it should be ready by Monday. The bad news is that they are restructuring my department, and i am going from hourly to salary. I will be getting a pay raise, but still... salary. I hate salary. Ive only worked it once before, and it just seems like a way for a company to make you work unpaid overtime.
But, we'll see what happens.

I hate salary too. It just means you can now work for free.
