Soo, i had a much better birthday than i thought i would. Birthdays usually get me down, cause it just reminds me that another year has gone by that i havent accomplished anything.
But, people made it worthwhile for me this year
I showed up to work yesterday morning. Im always the first one there. so when i unlocked the door and walked in, i found streamers and balloons all over my desk. Then my boss/coworker (who set up the streamers and balloons) brought donuts. Got a card and a gift card to walmart from her. Got another card from some other people in the office. My boss/coworker made me lunch and brought it in! Stuffed pasta shells and garlic bread! Amazing. Another coworker brought a cake/pie thing from claim jumper which was awesome.
Spent the day getting bday wishes from people on facebook. And after i got off work, my friends took me out to dinner at red lobster.
I'm so used to feeling like no one cares about me, and im alone, but there are times when the people around me really help me out by showing me they do care
