this place i work is just soo full of contradictions.
At that big meeting we had last week, our department head told us that he doesnt want us just skipping off at the end of our shift. We need to see if theres anything extra that we can do before we go.
So we start doing that. then he comes to us and tells us that he doesnt want any overtime. so, unless we arent finished with our mandatory daily workload, we cant stay past our 8 hours.
So yesterday i left on time, since i had nothing left to do. today he tells us that we cant leave without checking with him first. but he's usually in a meeting when its time for us to go home, and if i stay until he's back from his meeting, i'll have accrued an hour or more of overtime for that day.
cant win.

yeah i getcha, i was laid off my job in oct 08, and i was unemployed most of 09... i hate my job now too but i deal with it. now that i've moved though i'm out looking for something else so
