Had my interview with the gaming commission yesterday. They're gonna run a preliminary background check on me,a nd once thats done (within a week), i should be able to get a temporary gaming badge until the full background check is done.
Meaning, i should start actually working next week or so
In the meantime, I'm super broke, and i'm STILL waiting for my tax refund from California. So i called them up to find out what happened. Turns out, they decided that i was getting too much in refund, so they deducted (stole) $60 from my refund. And since they changed the amount, they could no longer direct deposit for who the fuck knows why... so they mailed it to me. Apparently, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I WROTE IT DOWN, they said they didnt have my apartment #, so the check was returned to them. So now, I gave it to them again, and they say 7-9 business days i'll have the check. Assuming they dont decide they wanna skim a little more off the top before they send it out
