I had my first call from a potential employer yesterday. I talked to her on the phone for a bit, and learned that the job is commission based *only* with unset hours. So i turned it down.
Was that a stupid thing to do? Should i have taken it? Or should i keep holding out for something better?

So I do the same now, and so do my kids and grandkids. And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, If this isnt nice, I dont know what is.
