one of my dogs is realy sick, dying in fact. her liver is shutting down, and a bunch of other things. her spleen is enlarged, her eyes are yellow, she's not eating, vomiting, and she pretty much has no energy

she's been hospitalized at the vets office for several days now on I.V.'s and they still dont know what is causing it.

we took her to another vet today to get an ultrasound to see if she had any tumors. she doesnt, thank god, but they still have no idea what is causing this, and we're really hoping that we can find out before it starts costing waaay too much, because we just cant afford it. we've already taken out a credit card to pay for the vet stay.

its very possible that we have to put her down. but we want to know if its hopeless first before we go down that route

**update**
we put her down, her liver was 100% shut down, so we had no choice. there was no way she would ever get better

they say god has a reason for everything. i see no reason for this...
