I actually broke down and cried tonight. From stress. I only got 1 1/2 hour of free time to myself today. The rest was devoted to work and sleep. And that's how I see my next few weeks going. God dammit I've ruined my life and it feels like there's no way to fix anything. I just feel like I'm in so deep that I...

I also don't have much anything to say that's comforting because your blog describes my general emotional state on a daily basis.

I know what it's like to feel unable to voice personal feelings with family.
I'm glad you do have SG as a safe place to vent.

I'm actually considering taking stress leave from work.

I'm working 10-12 hour days, and i may end up working 6 days a week soon. I'm having trouble sleeping

So fucking depressed and anxious right now

My boss/coworker, and basically only friend i have at work, told me this morning that she is going to put in her two weeks notice.

So not only am i losing a friend at work, im gaining her work until they replace her. Our business is 24/7, so there is someone working everyday. I work on the weekends,...

thanks smile

i hate when this happens to business. ive been making up for a full 40-hr/week person not being present in the pharmacy for weeks now and I feel like shooting myself at the end of each shift. hopefully, this too shall pass.

well, in FL you have to be certified to work as a tech. When I was a tech, you didn't need to have that certification, but now you need to pass a test (which is a few hundred dollars) and take a certification course beforehand (which the university is doing for $3k!!!)

it really is so expensive and even afterwards you make $8-$16/hr. nothing that great considering the amount of work you have to do. the good thing is you are a valued member of the community (pharmacy tech carries some weight of respect with it) and there are always job openings. well... i take it back. its worth it if you are a tech. you help people, you are air conditioned, get lunch breaks, and get respect. not worth it if you are a lead tech, which comes with a little raise but infinitely more responsibility.

i think within a month, it becomes worth it. not years. i remember being a tech, not having that much of a responsibility as I do now, and those were the days... the pay just sucks.

Night before last, my dad was taken from work in an ambulance with chest pains, and they admitted him, and kept him over night, and again overnight last night.

They kept him as mainly precautionary measures, as he was feeling better later in the night that it happened. But they wanted to run tests all day yesterday.

So, i dont think they know what caused...

Still dont know what is wrong with me exactly, but each day is different. Some days im in pain, other days im "fine", and others, im really out of it, and cant seem to focus on anything

I dont have medical insurance at the moment, because my work charges WAY too much for it.

So i have to start looking into independent medical insurance

Really unhappy with myself today.

My birthday is in a week. I've wasted 30 years of life.

30 freaking years. And the current state of my health suggests im closer to the grave than the womb

frown you've learned over 30 years wink

I'm sorry you're down, babe. Being in ill-health can do a number on one's ego and sense of worth. All I can say is take each day one at a time, and don't let the good times pass you by without taking full notice!

Vegas was fun. Probably the first time ive gone, in a long time, that i didnt end up depressed at some point.

I always go, and at some point during the trip, i get depressed that either i dont have enough money to do the things i want to do, or that i'm single. Vegas can definitly bring out depressing thoughts if you let it....

In Vegas. Interesting night so far. We got to the room were staying in at the Luxor, and when we opened the door, there was already someone in it. He looked kinda scared to suddenly have other people walk into his room. So, we left, made the miles long trek back to the desk to get a new room.

So, I'm exhausted, time for sleep
