At first, I thought he (I'm just going to assume he's a boy) was a ferret. He fell down the window well that leads to my basement bathroom. Anyway, the surface to get out was too high up and he couldn't get out. So I opened the screen between my bathroom window and the well and let him come into the bathroom. I gave him water and such and then left him alone, closed the bathroom door and turned the light off.

I was not convinced that he was a ferret. So I called my friend and we figured out that he's an Ermine. Which is a lot like a ferret but prized for it's soft fur and they're a little smaller

I tried to put a large stick down the well so he could climb out, but now he's sleeping in a little hole behind my sink and he won't come out. So I let my cats back outside, closed the window, and now I'm leaving him for the night. This means...I have an Ermine in my bathroom and he gets to watch me pee. He's really cute. Very curious about everything and nervous. I named him Bandit. I would keep him if he weren't a wild animal. But I want him to be free. I'd pick him up but I know he'd bite me.
