Yesterday was the Spring/Fall Thesis Parade. This is the day that those Reedies who finish in seven semesters or (much, much, much more likely) take one off hand in their babies/wives/dominatrices/theses. Then they party like it's 1999. There was a Beer Garden, and a band. There were crowds of elated folks who suddenly felt more alive than they had for quite some time. And, since I was working for the campus fuzz (we're much better than most schools' cops, honest) there were also projectile vomiters, passed out guys that couldn't have seemed less alive. Also, I got to say hello to al, dunx, KtKate, met mk700c (cool guy, not surprisingly), in addiion to What's His Face/Nuts and The Ugly One.

Then I came home, and had some drinks, and then had some drama. K, the housemate that I just broke things off with, is still a burr under my saddle in a number of ways. But while I think she understands how much I'm hurting, she doesn't seem to understand where I'm hurting. Whatever.

Met a very cute girl last night, named Molly, while I was working. I might have to do something about that. Also, I volunteered to work someone else's shift tonight, so I can't go to Winter Formal. I guess the last thing that I need is to get drunk and go to a meat market right now, anyway.
