@cvtgrrl_shan  Having done various forms of retail/customer service for most of my life, I can symapthize. Somewhere along the line, I think I got numb, now it's just humorous how stupid some of them can be.  Straight faced and professional pisses them off, and being pleasent while they scream at you, well, that's my favorite.  Hope you have a great weekend, and don't think about how much of an ass that dickhead will still be.

@jaxons trust me, I've worked with the public aplenty. I've been called every name in the book, worst was probably 'a fucking cunt', that guy was pretty shitty, and pretty drunk. I learned to brush it off back then, but like I said, I'm out of practice. The front end staff are the ones who deal with angry clients. I apologized to the guy, he didn't like that too much. They never do.

@oxy he just took a comment I made the wrong way, then blocked me after I told him said comment was meant jokingly. It just seems a little silly to be blocked for it. Maybe he was embarrassed.

Aww @caraphernelia thank you! I'm super tired and I think I'm getting sick. I'm currently sitting in front of a fireplace nearly setting my back on fire. I'm cold. My job is stressful but rewarding. I like to think I'm good at what I do, especially when doctors ask for my opinion on a case.

@caraphernelia you nailed it lady! I really should. I jump to conclusions a lot, assume things [most times incorrectly], and especially if I am in a negative state of mind. I also go off of what's not being said/done instead of what actually is.

@chefdaddy yes! Because I won't even be thinking about it, I'll be concentrating on something else and then my brain decides it wants to have an anxiety attack. And I'm such a sensitive person, so when someone shows me sympathy I immediately turn into a crying, grateful mess.

It's not that @littlejohn22, it's that he just seems incapable of being considerate. I don't mean that he's an asshole, I mean that he just doesn't think. He can be so dense. He's not creative. I literally have to tell him 'this is what I want' 'do ____' because it seems as if he never learned how to treat a lady in that department. In 12 years I can think of maybe 3 occasions, birthday or xmas, when I didn't have to give him gift ideas for myself. He actually thought of something on his own, and it was great. I just get so let down when I have to tell him to do everything

My weekend seemed to be a good one. Saturday I slept late-ish, relaxed, did a little housework. Managed to stay up late [1 a.m.] and watch some TV.

Sunday I slept in. Did some shopping for myself. I took myself out to dinner and bought myself drinks! I didn't even expect to put out for it, but I did 😂

I'm more of a beer chick @wickedargyle but I couldn't turn down moonshine, especially apple pie flavored. I had some homemade [not me] a few years ago and it was so delicious, he made it with Everclear, couldn't even taste the alcohol.
