So I just spent the last 30 minuted or so looking through my pictures. I take a lot of selfies, which is weird because I don't like pictures of myself. I discovered that I took more selfies when I was happier and fewer when I was depressed. I don't have many pictures taken of me by others and the ones I have are all family photos and boring. I digress. After searching, I found this one, it is my current profile picture on Facebook too.
I took this picture on Valentine's Day this year. It's my favorite because it was one of the first I took after getting back together with my boyfriend. It was one of the first times I was truly happy again. It's a straightforward selfie, sure, but I am genuinely happy in it.
