This one is easy. Have more confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, and don't commit yourself to one person for multiple years, enjoy the dating scene, then find 'the one'.
I lacked all of that. I thought I was fat and ugly, I wasn't. I was painfully shy, I still am but to a lesser degree. Compared to some of my friends, I dated very few guys. I can count on 2 hands the amount of boyfriends I've had in the 20 years I've been dating. It really put a damper on the opportunities I could've had. Everything came too little too late.
However, I wouldn't be the person I am today if things were different. Maybe I'd be a better person? Maybe worse, maybe too cocky, not humble enough. Maybe I wouldn't be with the person I'm with now and that thought makes me sad.
I would tell myself that everything will be ok, you will be ok.
