Hi all 😀 I've been a busy lady this week and weekend. After a lot of fighting I FINALLY closed on my house Friday. I'm a first time homeowner although I'm not new to having a house. It's just this time the deed is actually in my name. Next step is renovating the place. Work on Friday went smoother than anticipated with the exception of being bitten on the hand. He only broke skin in 2 small spots. My reflexes are pretty quick but I wasn't quick enough that time. Luckily by Saturday the red marks and swelling went down.
Saturdays at work are always hectic, made the day go fast but it was busy! I relaxed for awhile after getting home. Had the usual delicious Mexican food for dinner from my usual place. They know me well by now.
Sunday was ok. I slept in a little which was nice. I had planned on cleaning my porch but didn't have appropriate cleaning supplies so I scrapped that idea and cleared out some shit from upstairs. Started putting my games, books, and puzzles onto a shelf. I found my HS yearbooks. That was a nostalgic flashback that was a bit saddening. I went to a friend's house to chill. We played Lego Dimensions for a few hours. He's a cool dude. He dated my cousin for a few years but he and I stayed friends after they broke up. Shit, I think I'm better friends with him than my cousin, and her and I were raised like sisters!
I have Monday off as usual but I'm getting paid for it since we're closed for the holiday 😁 maybe I'll grill or something.
