So, I was a functioning member of society today. Worked until 2. Did an ultrasound on a 160lb great dane [the one I posted a picture of not long ago], sedated thankfully. Unfortunately that meant he had to be dead-lifted and carried. Holding him in position was awkward and heavy. My bad shoulder hurts now š¤. Still, was a decent day at work.
I came home, showered, doing laundry, and baking a cake for the SO. His bday was x-mas eve but I waited on his cake until after all the other holiday crap. It is Devil's food cake with chocolate coconut rum frosting, shredded coconut in it too.
Mundane, boring, everyday stuff I just babbled about, yes. But I'm feeling positive today and I'm happy about that. I have told myself that I will take life one day at a time, and so far I have been able to adhere to that. And now I am going to pick up the stuffed pizza I ordered: spinach, Canadian bacon, and garlic šš
