This guy was the best patient I had all day. He's 13 and was the sweetest thing. He kept following me so I would pet him. He sat so good for his x-rays and catheterized urine. He laid there while I gave him subcutaneous fluids, all I had to do was rub his belly and he would doze off. He made cute little snorting sounds and he gave me an adorable kiss on my nose.
The reason for my gushing is that I didn't have the best day going into work. The place was a mess and yet again I had to finish other people's jobs for them. I had doctors asking me questions for which I had no answers because I was not there earlier. I just get sick of doing my coworker's jobs when I have no problem getting mine done myself.
This guy helps me realize that as annoying as work can be at times, this is why I do my job and love it.
