New job has been going well. I'm really enjoying the work. My coworkers are actually pretty cool. I have always been a fix-it kinda guy so this support stuff is right up my alley.
As for my geekier pursuits, I just finished Jak2 and am now playing T.H.U.G pretty heavily.
These games are phenomenal. Period.
The addition of guns to Jak2 didn't detract from the puzzle feel of the game as I had expected it to. The storyline is good. Jak is sporting a green goatee now. Looks pretty cool. He's also darker and more vengeful, which I like
Daxter is always there with the ubercheese jokes. The hover board was only so-so as far as the tricks go. Just made me jones to get T.H.U.G. My biggest problem with the game: The city is HUGE. It takes forever to get from mission to mission. Especially if you're trying to avoid the Krimzon Guard.
T.H.U.G is better than I expected it to be and I had lofty expectations. The amount of customization you can do to your skater is sick. The stoyline is really engaging. I've found myself getting actually pissed at the main antagonist in the game. Heh.
Must get network adaptor to play T.H.U.G. online....
Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but soon. Very soon.
