Okay so I witnessed on of the Greatest concerts ever last weekend. A week ago today I was sweating my ass off in the the middle of Randalls Island new york. The Line-up in order was:
Supernatural w/Rahzel
Jedi Mind Tricks
Immortal Technique
Pharoh Munch
EPMD
Mos Def and Talib Kweli
Public Enemy
The LEGENDARY ROOTS CREW
Cypress HIll
Wu-Tang Clan
Rage against the Machine
I swear I am not lying when I say.....There was not a bad set. Every Person brought their A game.
I have not been so hot and felt that faint since Woodstock 99...But Fuck it was a great show.
Some highlights:
Scott Ian from Anthrax came out and did "Bring the noise" with PE.
Talib and Mos did Black Star stuff which I loved. Plus Mos Played my favorite song"Ms. Fat Booty"!
Redman came out during Wu tang and did a song with Method Man
The Roots were on fire. Plus Black THought did like a James Brown Breakdown it was crazy!
And most of all I have never heard a crowd as loud as when the stage went dark and ll you heard was a voice say...."Hell we are Rage against the Machine from Los Angeles California"
Anyway...No more shows until Aug 24. Then I get to see Kay Hanley and John Legend at Fenway Park! I love Kay!
I am so happy about my recent DVD purchases:

Oh yeah...Then this morning I saw this
