Well... I should be going to bed but hell what's the point...I've survived on less than this... Tomorrow I go into the theater that our show will be in ( "sugar struggle" in the Two Roads Theatre in Studio City, Ca) - i've mentioned it before. Anyway... I have help from two of the other girls who are in the collective with me... I'm sure they will be of help, but they've never really done a whole lot of theater work (ie hanging lights, focusing, patching, etc. etc.) So alot of it rests on my shoulders to be able to do it. artpie seems to have a lot of faith in me, and I know I can do it, it's just that it's my first time all alone, and though it's not a big theater or a big show, it's my show and I can't fuck it up! I just completed my lighting plot, and after i'm done fucking around on the internet i will be writing a "to do " list so I don't forget anything I know it's kinda anal but it makes me feel better. If you're in the LA area next weekend come see us!!
On a side note, on monday of this past week my fellow calartians and I lost a very valued and loved member of our family, I mention this not for simpathy, but to remind all of you how truly short life can be, how we all need to stop putting off those things that we say we're going to do one day, like oh... someday I'll write a book, someday I'll put on a show, someday i'll quit ... someday... (whatever you dream of )... stop thinking someday and put energy towards doing whatever it may be that you want to do, whatever makes you happy. I know it's kinda cheesy, but it's true. much love to you all and special kisses to my artpie who will be on the east coast for a week... and thanks to the rest of you for listening to me babble!!!!
