wow..probably some of the best gifts ive ever asked for..
i got 3 of my top 5 gifts...a CD player/radio for the shower, a turntable, and an iPod!! i wasn't expecting any of them cuz my mom like sot trick me with gifts i didn't ask for first cuz i tell her not to get me stuff i ask for....but wow i was surprised with all 3...
the shower CD player is a necessity cuz i hate lugging my boombox into the bathroom..
the turntable ive always wanted and i have so much vinyl..plus me and my dad havent connected on a level like that in a while and we need that its nice to see we have a lot in common..we meshed dour vinyls collections together....ya know his jimi hendrix, rolling stones, iron butterfly, chuck berry, the kinks, and my beastie boys, nerd, Thursday, ac/dc...its good...i like how hes like "heres the stones exile on main street, its the first record to use motherfucker!"
and the iPod its trendy but i love it...and my mom got me the 40 gig cuz she gets a discount through QVC cuz of my dad is comcast....and she wants me to use the recorder for skool cuz columbia gave them to all their freshmen...dummy..although i cant upload all 300 of my CDs till dave fixes my computer and upgrade..lazy bastard...
plus i got up so early and made a huge breakfast for the rents so they could wake up to the smell of xmas breakfast but they wok up to my banging around....
oh and FX beats TBS this holiday..yeah TBS plays Christmas Story for 24 hours with ralphie (Adam K.) and his BB gun....but FX is playing Jingle all the Way with the Governator...when can u see a giant santa punch a midget santa off Arnolds head..and SInbad! and arnold gets another cheesy catch phrase...but TBS makes up for play Home Alone right after the marathon is over...if u didnt know Home Alone is my fav xmas movie and in the top 10 best movies of all time...
so far its a sweet day..i hope everyone gets the shit they want..greedy fucks...
