Wow how time flies. I cant believe its been over 2 years since having an active SG account. So much has changed and so many people have come and gone. Hopefully this time around I will meet some more cool people and hopefully find some PDXers to excersize some social skills with.
I have been a memeber since I lived in Seattle so haven't every really been checking out the PDX scene. Hope to stay a little more regular on the site though now.
I know work in a soul draining little cube, providing tech support for a very mediocre product. I have been searching my ass off for something else that I might like, something with animals and/or earth. Vet Asst, Gardener, anything to get out of that cube and back in touch with life. Then I learned that the PDX zoo offers 3 month unpaid internships if you can get accepted, this would be my only real possability of obtaining some useful experience to apply towards a zookeeper/caretaker position. Normally very against zoos, but how better to ensure proper care and love is given than to do it myself.
Ok, enough for now...Must get ready to lose some more soul.
