curmudgeon

i've scotch taped my arms to death and they still itch like crazy. i was helping my dad wire his house today. i was up in the attic trying to dodge insulation, but to no avail. my arms are red and itchy.
it's cool, my dad and i are both electricians. so that makes me third generation steelworker, third generation skilled tradesman, second generation electrician. kind of neat except the steelworker part.
in a few weeks, we do my house. my step brother is coming over tomorrow to measure for new carpet. i'm excited. so, i have new furniture, will have new carpet, new windows in the last 3 years, new siding and gutters this spring, redid the spare room and living room, wow, i'm actually getting there. next year is the new heating and cooling and a few years later the new garage and driveway. dang.
i really should try going to bed.
