I think it's like some sort of cruel joke that I am going to call up and book studio time while my throat is all swollen up like a poison pufferfish. I'm trying not to talk, but when I do talk, I try not to move my throat muscles so it sounds like I am speaking English as a second language. (Especially since I don't use as many contractions in speech. Contractions are hell on the ol' vocal chords. It is much easier to say "would not have" than it is to say "wouldn't've, especially when you are in throat pain.)
School starts tomorrow, and I have an entire list of things that needs to get accomplished, but that just isn't going to work. I have a fever as well and I am sweating buckets. The first day of school is going to be a tough one.

Patti and I both have schoolgirl crushes on Miyavi. Will this require a Battle Royale-style fight to the death? (Nah, she can have him.)
