So...I spent an action-packed weekend with notoriousDUG, which included a Jeep barbecue on Sunday. They had a barbecue which is actually the front of a Jeep. I was very impressed.
After that we went to the benefit for Cat's husband and got really drunk for a good cause. I hope thurmis made it home without incident. I haven't heard about him being on the news, so.
I'm getting a bunch of my stuff to take to the eBay dropoff. Anyone ever done the eBay dropoff before? I'm really really beyond strapped for cash at this point. Which is fucking awful, because I wanted to save some money for Japan.



See Kanazawa? That's where I'll be staying for a month.
A really cool thing is, after much Japan map looking, I've determined I've never been anywhere near Kanazawa. I don't think I've ever even been in Fukui Prefecture knowingly. I've been as far as Gifu, and east to Nagano. I've been to Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Fukuoka and Okinawa on short trips. I've lived a week in Shizuoka and a month in Tokyo. But I've never been to Kanazawa.
