Yes, every main character in the musical RENT has AIDS. Why didn't anyone tell me this before?

nah that's not true. Mark doesn't have it, or Benny, Maureen or Joanne... probably more.

By 'it' I mean the movie, not the musical, altho I have seen that several times. And the only one of those I mentioned who may possibly be HIV+ is Benny b/c he sleeps with Mimi, but it's never stated and i'm pretty sure he doesn't.
