Well,
I guess its about time I updated. I was home for a month so I did little up dating, and then got back to school, and the homework poured in. I planned on doing some drinking this weekend, but due to the wonders of the flu, I was stuck in my room reading 200+ pages for homework. I still have to write 2 poems (never take 2 poetry classes at the same time) and write a short essay on Antigone. I am amazed at how many times I have read the Oddyssey since i have been in college. I think it is about my 4th time now. And I am doing it in 2 classes at the same time. Good story, but it has its limits as to how many times you can read it.
I cleaned and rearranged my room today. That was exciting. I would put pictures of it up, but lack of knowledge as to how my camera phone works is not letting me do that. If anyone knows how, without spending 30 bucks on a program, let me know.
I decided I am going to go for a MFA in poetry, just dont know where yet. I am thinking about staying here at SIUC, or possibly going to Univ. of Toledo. I know a professor there that says they have a pretty good program.
Like i said in my previous post, my room mate is moving out, so I need to find a new place to live. I dont know anyone I coudl stand to live with, everyone else gets on my nerves. I have found 2 places that i could possibly afford. the first is a little bit out of town, but its only 375 plus electric a month. Not to bad. The other is 250, all utilities included, but its a studio (which i dont really mind) and its in kind of a shady neighborhood. hmm, we'll see what happens. As long as i can get to class, and have internet access, I am ok.
I need to shave, but I am thinking about letting the beard grow in. Any comments? Hmmm...ok, Time to work on poetry, its about the right time.

ooo I like Antigone which version are you reading? The origional or one of the weird twisted translations? My prof gave us all different translations once in which we had to write about and I got this shitty translation that they guy must have been high while writing. Good luck finding a new place to live
