We had a lil scare last night decided to go to the ER after experiencing some bleeding. My fertility Dr. agreed it was a good idea to go- everything's fine, and the babies are fine. Two heartbeats were detected inside an intact gestational sac with a closed cervix, all signs pointing to a healthy and developing multiple pregnancy.
Went again this morning to see my fert. specialist, who confirmed that all is well. The cause of the bleeding is unknown: the trauma of the ultrasound itself (had a regularly scheduled one on Wed.), implantation bleeding as the placentas prepare to deliver nutrients, or something more algebraic. Who knows. But long story short, all's well. Oh and I have my first Prenat visit with the OBGYN on March 23. YAY!!!!!!
