Opening the porno store is what motivates me! Its something that Ive wanted to do for yrs. And I dont think my mom is missing anything in her life, she just doesnt want me to ruin any chances in my life. Which I understand, but still its my body and they are all where they can be covered up...so I know what I am doing. Its a long drawn out story....but my brother has pissed away his life and is barely holding onto his job at whole foods in dallas. His tattoos and ahir keep him from getting good jobs and she doesnt want that to happen to me. But come one...if Im running a porno store - whos going to care what I look like?!?

There is a discussion about this on another board that I am on. I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
The main arguement about preventing same-sex marriage is a religious one and htere is supposed to be a seperation of church and state. One of the members of the previously mentioned board had this to say:
Marriage is a mechanism that provides the couple with a number of legal benefits such as the right to make decisions for your partner in a medical emergency, health care benefits, right not to testify against your spouse in court, and many more. As it stands, homosexual couples are clearly not given the same civil rights as heterosexual couples.
I think that sums up a few of the benefits that homosexuals are missing out nevermind just being able to express their love openly.
