today is valentine's day. one of my favorite holidays.
what really breaks my heart is this. my family has known the sanchez family for years and it turns out that oscar knew some of the same people that i knew in high school. with his murder i can only think that his wife is going through; having to raise her daughter without the support of her husband. when i think about what she is going through it makes my heart ache. to love someone so much and for him to be kidnapped and murdered. all of this has really freaked me out but it has taught me something. we cannot take things in our lives for granted and you must do what you want.
so joe and i got married today. i know it's valentine' s day how cliche'. hey after 5 years together what's to lose??
we are still waiting for after we both graduate for the big wedding blowout on the beach with my crazy dominican family and his very southern family from nashville. i think we should make it a reality show.
