I wanted to stay home and work. I wanted to pretend the day was just not happening. Of all holidays to get myself that wrapped around the axle, I know, but the memories were killing me and I wanted to pretend that all the noise outside were just the normal random gunfire. However, when you have a child, you must have fun for HIS sake. So we did and it did turn out much better than I expected. I wish you could have seen the drunken emo kids on the beach playing their acoustic guitars, waiting for the opportunity to be bad. There were seriously 10's of thousands of dollars of fairly impressive illegal fireworks going off that night. What I want to know is this: If they are able to spend thousands on their tattoos, how on earth do they have money left for sky rockets? I'm just saying. I thought I made okay money, but the kids somehow have me beat on spending power. Sucks to get old and have big people bills!
