Started my new job, and it will take some to get used to. I also bought a new car last Wednesday, a 2005 Ford 500 SE, and I really like it. I put over 200 miles on it since Monday morning.
I miss my friends in Vegas, but have started making some new ones here and the people here are much friendlier overall. Getting used to living away from any place to eat or shop takes some getting used to, but the quiet more than makes up for it. I used to hear sirens at least 3 times a day and see someone getting arrested several times a week, but since I have been here one siren and one arrest(well deserved he beat up his wife).
The apartment I have is a light year nicer than the one I had, but it is only 3 years old and the other one was 40. Besides the obvious were and tear the office staff is infinitely better, and I don't have to speak Spanish to get my point across.
The philosophy of the company that owns it shows, they want happy people working for them and happy tenants.
I got off early today and am catching up on all my other business and will have tomorrow off, but have to work Saturday which is fine with me.
