The move is half done. The shit is packed and on the way by the movers who screwed up by coming a day late and then overcharging me another $400. I left Vegas yesterday and was in my new apartment in Littleton CO at 9 AM today. I love it. New, clean, nice area, nice people but I have to drive for everything, I will get used to that.
The only drawback is not to venture too far from the sidewalk on the back side of the building, the rattlesnakes and bitten and killed a few dogs.
I went to Target and spent $167 on nothing, and need to do it a few more times until I get something in the apartment, but I feel like a new person, and now am fully prepared to start my new job in a few weeks.
I was impressed by something my local post office did for me. They called the post office here, and faxed my application for a PO box in as verified, had one there for 8 years. They gave me my new PO box number before I left Vegas. They said it is something that 9-11 brought on and OK one good thing came out of that terrible day.
