I got an instant message from a member today. She was wondering where I have been and she needed to talk to me about something. I talk to a few select people when I see them on line, and this person is definately special. Have I ever met her no, is there a chance I ever will, maybe. Do I want to meet her, yes, for what we have shared, I would just love to give her a big hug and a kiss on the top of her head.
But back to her problem, she needed a sounding board and I was there. Did I help her, I hope so, I did not lie or sugar coat what I thought, but prefaced my opinion with do you really want to know what I think. She and I had similar thoughts on the subject.
Who is it, I will never tell. What happened, nope, not that either. Will I be there if she needs me again, 24/7. There are more important things in life than money, getting laid, or getting over, one of them is friendship another is trust. Will she let me into her world again, yes. Because while others will judge, and we all do, I told her why I think things happen the way they do. Whether it is the way you just feel around someone that you can't get out of your head, those boots that you just have to have to go with this outfit, or my car died, sometimes you just need a friend.
