Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed and others it does. I have about 6 weeks before I move and I am stressed to the max. The place I was moving was sold to another group and the staff they have there has no clue on what they are doing. I went back to the original group and found another apartment and while some people there are great, the property I am moving to seems to be either understaffed or disorganized. I called them last Saturday to confirm I wanted the apartment, and again on Wednesday. Finally someone called me on Thursday and I felt better about the whole deal until they called today returning my call from last week. Hello, the right hand and left hand are not being run by the same brain.
I went out to breakfast today and while playing video poker won $100, nice way to start the day. I did as little as possible at work, and left in the heat of the day, 113 or so.
I went to see a sneak preview of The Island. I liked it, and one scene with Steve Buschemi with the clothes closet is hilarious.
I think I am going to take time to read No Opportunity Wasted, written by the guy who is the host of The Amazing Race. I started it the other night and he tells about how he came up with this idea, some of the things he has done and some good ideas about life.
