Went to see War of the Worlds and Mr and Mrs Smith over the weekend. That was the highlight of the weekend. I found out tonight that some people are really not all they appear. I find more phony people in this town than any other one. I am not talking about cocktail waitresses or the girls from strip clubs(have never been to one here in Vegas) but normal people that you get to know over a long period of time that can be phony.
I am hurt that I had gone out of my way to be nice to this person and be insulted via another person is not right.
Oh well I have made a few new friends here over the last few weeks and one of them makes me smile. I have chatted with her a few times, and she brightens my day. With such few people that really brighten my day, it is nice to find a good friend.
