As I was driving home last night before I wrote yesterdays journal, I saw a good person (Ginnie) suffering from doubt, love and a myriad of other things. I was tempted to go out and get her a small bouquet of flowers, just because it would take her mind off her troubles.
Today I went and got some carnations(I think, what the fuck do I know about flowers) and wrote her a note. The note said you needed these yesterday. I will always be your friend.
I went over to see her in the middle of her shift. She had the tables with the bar stools, I hate them. I sat there, she knows I don't like them at all and told me to sit where I feel comfortable, even thought it would not be in her station.
She did not see this huge red Target bag I brought in, if she did, she had no clue what was in it. I gave her the flowers and she was so happy. She did not get a call and now knows it is over. This was like the first day of the rest of her life, and I started it off with some flowers. It made her smile and made me feel good.
