I love when people call you to be politically correct while insulting you at the same time. I was invited to an ebay function, I accepted. I made reservations, they called me, they sent numerous emails and all was well, until last night. I was uninvited, or more 2000's dissedinvited.
I was pissed. If I had thought at the time I would have made an issue of the hotel room etc, but was to taken by the whole thing to think properly. It seems I offened on of the little lovelies there a few years ago, I called her out on not doing her job. Her going away with her boyfriend for the weekend was more important than doing her job correctly and she let me hang out to dry so to speak.
She is now in management and would have felt uncomforatable if I were to attend this function. I should have said, OK what do you pay the bitch, give her a day off with pay, I spend $50,000 a year or more with you clowns and I don't want to hear it.
That put a perfect end to a shitty Thursday. I sent my previous manager an email with one sentence saying that ebay had uninvited me. She tried to get some details but the wall of silence was up. She also wanted to let me know that she had nothing to do with it or had heard anything about this situation. That made me feel better.
I was really pissed at them and one of these days I will find a way to get my pound of flesh.
