I have had a long period of being not happy and to come here used to be my escape from my problems. I used to log in several times a day, never missed a new set and read blogs of friends constantly. I drifted away, a long way away. Tonight some guy from ebay is being a jerk. He does not know what he is talking about and thinks that since his post office can't find his package it is my fault. People that are self appointed experts always bother me.
Many years ago I wrote report that my boss presented under the company name and it was widely read. A few weeks later at a trade show a guy came up to our booth at a trade show and was really upset with it. He obviously never read it and was fed phrases out of context. I listened to him rant and rave and asked him where he read it. Then each of his hot buttons were explained to him by adding the sentence before or after so the whole meaning changed. He got sarcastic and said that is not what the article said. I gave him a copy and said, yes, exactly as I wrote it. He stormed off and my boss just watched, as he was a bureaucrat and not a techie and what I wrote was like Chinese.
