Yesterday was my birthday, the 16th. I had a bad nights sleep, and a phone call before 7 confirming my new sofa was 20 minutes away. Then around 9 the cable guy got here to install Verizon FIOS, it took 5 hours but it is incredible. It will take a while to get used to the channel layout and how to use the DVR, but I already did one program to see how it works and it was great. The picture quality in HD is amazing.
Since I had people in the house today, I had to stop all work. I let the cable guy come and go and I did get an hour of sleep on the sofa. Tomorrow is a bear. I have 3 days work to do in one day, and one guy is bitching, fuck him, he never said it was life or death and I said I would ship Wednesday or Friday.
I will be going out to a steak dinner next week, but nothing else. My friend wanted to take me to Penn and Teller but since my knee is still sore I said no, then I saw the price of the tickets and really said no.
I rearranged the furniture and just by moving a light it makes the place look different, how was I to know.
