I finally broke down and asked for some help from my friend. With the knee problems, walking is tough, so taking the trash out and other things have gone by the wayside as just to walk to the door is a problem, let alone walk up and down a flight of steps and the 100 yards to the dumpster is not possible. Once I said help, she went beyond what I needed, helping me clean up a lot of the waste from my business.
The knee is getting better, it has been a month and if I get up and walk every hour or so the arthritis is not bad, and the pain is not bad. But sit in front of the computer for 3 to 4 hours and then try to move is a challenge. I am not taking any thing for the pain, as it is minor and only when I let myself get into that situation.
Verizon finally got approval to sell TV here, the buildings were wired months ago, but the local politicians were trying to be assholes, I guess when they got a letter from the legal department saying that fighting them any longer after they met all the local, state and federal ordinances several months ago would be quite costly. I guess a company that spends more in taxes in this state than the entire budget of this pisshole, got their attention.
I talked with the District Manager and will be installed in a week. If I had signed up last week, I would already been installed, but they wired 5000 places here so once the dam broke the people moved in droves to them, considering they are saving me about 40 bucks a month over Comcast for the same services.
