Last Saturday my friend and I were watching some DVD's and the power went out around 6 and we sat here waiting for it to come back on. She left at 8 and a little before 10 the police came through with their loud speakers saying that the power would be back on by 6 in the morning. I called some people on my cell just to talk to someone and not feel alone in the dark. At 11 they came through again saying that it was worse than they thought and power would be back late in the afternoon.
I got up and went out looking for someplace open for something to eat. It was eerie driving up a road that normally has lights on with businesses lit up and everything for a few miles was just black. I got something to eat and got home around 1. The next morning at 930 the lights came on and my laser printer started up. I got up, went out for coffee, came back and worked till around 3 when I went to the movies with my friend. We saw Vantage Point and we really liked it.
I came home and while she watched the DVD, I worked and stopped around 2 in the morning. Since I sell on the Internet, losing a day of work, threw a monkey wrench into my week, but finally got caught up.
I am taking it easy now, have to get up early and go to a show. Then come back and work all day until my friend comes over. I know next week is Easter and will do my listings on ebay accordingly.
I am getting a little bored with the site lately. Or maybe I am so busy that I do not have the time to spend here.
