I am in a fog today. I was up till 3 reading a book. Then got up at my normal time, give or take 30 minutes and have been out of it all day. I went to the Radio Shack to get my phone I bought there in September fixed, I should work there, as I am more electronically aware than both clerks. I almost worked in that store many years ago, but turned it down as it was in a mall that no one ever went to. The mall has been redone, and some people actually go there.
I was busy busting my ass getting the apartment ready for visitors and getting my ebay work done and then when I finally got it to a place where the apartment was OK and I could stop working, I remembered my friend won't be here for another hour.
In that hour I got more work done, read some blogs and decided to update mine.
We are going out shopping, then to a movie, we saw Breach yesterday and liked it, but I hate when the get details completely wrong, like taking a briefcase and any electronic device into a highly classified area as a visitor, not going to happen. I worked in those places and no cell phones, pagers, PDA or anything was allowed, no exceptions. I also got a kick out of him printing out a Top Secret, SCI, special compartmented information document from home, not going to happen. Those systems do not have any media storage like floppy discs or mini drive capability, and are closed. The only way to get those documents is to take them from work, and to even print them yourself is generally not permitted, as they are hand receipted every time they change hands.
It is cold here, but they say the weather is going to change shortly, cant wait for nice warmer weather.
