I left last Thursday morning for Vegas and drove thru some bad weather on the other side of the Eisenhower tunnel, the bad road was for about 90 minutes. I got to Vegas in a little over 11 hours. I found that the area where I was staying had gotten quite bad and I sort of blew it off until I saw a hooker trying to solicit in the parking lot. The show was poor at best. I did visit some friends, one of the Keesa was awesome, can't wait to see her again. Others were so so. I left the show at 2:30 on Saturday and started back, i was tired and driving thru Utah I was talking on the phone with my buddy and missed the turn to Vegas, so I drove about 40 miles in the wrong direction, after I got that all straightened out ran into some snow in Utah and by the time I got to Colorado I was running low on mental gas. If all was perfect I could have gotten home at 2 AM, but there was snow flurries and I pulled over to a roadside park for 76 hours of sleep and then left in the snow the next morning, it was much worse than the trip out, there was 12 inches of snow near Vail, but they were out plowing and I got home dead tired at 11 AM. I got a lot of work done and was too wired to sleep. I went out got gas and a car wash, had to get 5 tons of road salt off it and went to late lunch. I saw my buddy Jess and gave her a $2 bill as part of her tip. She was blown away, she collect them but had never gotten one as a tip. Her smile made my day.
