i had an AMAZING birthday. i was woken up to the doorbell ringing. FLOWER DELIVERY.
my daughter made me a birthday card at daycare, i got a cold stone birthday cake, ruby bracelet, godiva chocolates and then a night without a child. it was relaxing and completely enjoyable. it was pretty strange given the fact that i haven't gotten any more than a 'happy birthday' for the last 10 years. i'm so greatful for finally having someone in my life that makes an effort. i wasn't expecting any gifts and was actually uncomfortable about it but whatever i appreciate it.
