Yes, I won a slot to go to Ironman Hawaii. I just put in for it and got it first time out. There are 150 slots and tens of thousands of applicants and I got lucky the first time out. It's unheard of and awesome and oh crap, I really need to train up because Oct 13, 2007 will be serious A game time.

hey thanks for the input. yeah i train 70-100 miles a week and i think a 50 is a good starting place. plus i'd like to be able to run a lot of my life... those 100's seem really tough on the body
